It’s been understood that Manchester United have shown no interest in Bakayoko as they have not initiated and talks nor has the club made any offers for the upcoming summer.
While Man United has not shown interest, Chelsea has gone ahead with talks to make Bakayoko their 3rd confirmed sign for the summer, including Antonio Rudiger and Willy Caballero. Tiemoue is expected to attend a medical as early as later this week, making it possible for the midfielder to join travel arrangements for the Chelsea team to Singapore and China on Monday next week.
While Chelsea are forking out just under £40 million for their new teammate, multiple reports have suggested that Man Utd could be interested in a late bid, therefore hijacking the player from Chelsea. However, recent developments have discovered that Bakayoko doesn’t interest United boss Jose Mourinho for the upcoming summer.
Tiemoue is a French professional footballer who was born on 17 August 1994. His professional career took off at Rennes after joining the academy at age 13. The midfielder made 24 appearances for the club before making a permanent move for £7 million in 2014. His first appearance as a senior occurred in March of 2017 when he played for France in against Spain.
In other Manchester United news, the club has shown interest in signing Eric Dier who’s currently on the Tottenham team, and Nemanja Matric who’s playing for Chelsea.
Chelsea has agreed to talks for Matric after the deal have been concluded for Bakayoko but has also mentioned that they prefer to sell the player to a foreign team instead of a league rival such as Man United. Inter Milan has expressed interest in Matric and are willing to pay £35 million for the player.
Nemanja is a defensive midfielder who was born on the first of August 1988. The Serbian player has been part of the Chelsea team since 2009 but moved to other clubs since. He re-joined the Blues in 2014 for £21 million.
Furthermore, Man United have also shown interest in signing Ivan Perisic from the Inter team, which is believed to have reached advanced considerations for the move. Luciano Spalletti is expected to discuss future plans with the 28-year-old later this week to see what future possibilities there are.
It’s been reported that the attacking midfielder has already agreed to personal terms with Manchester United. However, Man Utd have not met demands of the fee set out by Inter, which is expected to reach the £45 to £50 million mark later this week and could complete the transfer for the new Manchester United midfielder. For the time being, no further reports have surfaced.
